Free files, with the details actually filled in
freeimagedump indexes things you can download for free from other people's sites — and records what the roundup articles leave out: the exact specs, whether there is a signup wall, and the date we last confirmed the link still works.
37 tunic patterns, 27 of them free. Each one listed with its size range, whether you must give an email, knit or woven, skill level, and whether an A0 or projector file exists. 2 patterns that other sites still link to are already dead — we say so.
Why this site exists
Search for a free sewing pattern and you get a list of twenty links and a photo for each. You click through six of them before finding out that one stops at a size 16, two want your email address, and one has been a 404 since last year. The information that decides whether a file is useful to you is never in the list — it is buried three clicks deep, or not written down anywhere.
So we open every page, write down the details, and put the date on it.
How this is kept honest
- Nothing is hosted here. Every download goes to the original site. We do not copy files or photos.
- Nothing is invented. If a page does not state the size range, we write Unconfirmed. We never fill a gap with a guess.
- Every entry is dated. Links rot and free patterns go paid. You can see when we last looked.
A note on the domain
freeimagedump.com was a free image host for many years. If you followed an old link to an image that used to live here, it is gone — that service ended and we have no copies of those files. The domain is now used for this index.
